       Ways to book appointments

  • By Telephone: 0208 314 5552 and select option 1

  • By this website using our online option (Ask a receptionist for a emis online access form which you take home and register, you will need to bring in proof of ID with you)

  • In person from 8.00am onwards

 

 Appointment System at Hilly Fields Medical Centre

 

Making an appointment with a doctor or a nurse is not very easy for a lot of our patients. We have been taking on board all the suggestions and comments you have given us. The current appointment system has been developed as a result of this as the pressure we have from the government to be able to provide appointments within 24 to 48 hours.

 

Our current system is as follows:-

 

      1. Advance book of appointments

  • You are able to book appointments 4 weeks in advance to see a doctor. There are two slots in each session reserved to book 48 hours in advance and as such can ONLY be released 48 hours in advance. All these appointments can be booked by attending in person or by telephone.

 

      2. Advance booking by internet

  • These can be booked by logging on our online option via the main menu. You will need a special access code for this. Please ask the reception staff for this. This saves you ringing on the day. These will also be released up to 6 weeks in advance.

 

      3. Book on the day appointments

  • There will be one doctor each day for book on the day appointments. These appointments will be released to be booked on the day mainly to meet the 24 hour target of being able to see a doctor or a nurse on the same day. For appointment or attend in person to book.

 

      4. Emergency appointments

  • We have one duty doctor every day who is booked to see emergency problems. We will book morning emergency appointments from 8.00am and afternoon emergency appointments from 1.00pm. If you feel that you need to see a doctor urgently for your medical problem, you can ask for an emergency appointment. We endeavour to see all the patients presenting with an urgent medical problem.
