Ordering a repeat prescription

If you require prescriptions for regular and continuing treatment, it is not always necessary to see the doctor each time.  Repeat prescriptions are computerised and the tear-off slip at the side will indicate the date your review is due.

Give 2 full working days’ notice.  Please DO NOT telephone.

Order your repeat prescription online at a time that suits you.

Your details and information are protected by the highest standards of online security, so all you need to worry about is what to do with the spare time you’ve earnt.

Repeat Prescriptions

Requests for prescriptions are NOT taken over the telephone, as we believe this can lead to errors. If you have a repeated medication the Doctor will issue you with a request sheet. All repeat medications should be indicated on the request sheet of your prescription. Prescriptions will be ready for collection within 48hrs from request.

Alternatively the request sheet can be sent back to The Surgery in a stamped addressed envelope and it will be posted back to you. Please note that requests for repeat prescriptions received at the Surgery the day before a Bank Holiday weekend will not be available for collection until after the Bank Holiday.

Your request sheet will show a review date. This will be updated automatically if you see a Doctor
before that date. If you have not seen a Doctor since the prescription was issued you will be advised
by the Receptionist to make an appointment to see a Doctor before the prescription can be reissued
